Multiple Single Leg Jumps

The Multiple Jumps Test is a dynamic biomechanical assessment used to evaluate an individual's reactive strength, lower limb stiffness, power output, and ability to utilize the stretch-shortening cycle (SSC) effectively during a series of continuous vertical jumps. The individual performs repetitive jumps (e.g., countermovement jumps or stiff-leg hops) in place on calibrated force plates (e.g., Kistler "Delta" series or similar). Key parameters derived include jump height, ground contact time, flight time, Reactive Strength Index (RSI), leg-spring stiffness, and power. This test is commonly used in sports science, athletic performance monitoring, talent identification.
